Arzel Zoning is seeking a highly skilled Sr. HVAC Technician Support with strong residential HVAC technician, training and sales experience to join their dynamic team. In this role, the Sr. HVAC Technician Support will not only excel in technical troubleshooting but also play a pivotal role in training, promoting and selling Arzel products.

  • No last-minute schedules or schedules changes. Workday schedule of 8 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally addressing and resolving technical inquiries from technicians.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide input on new product development.
  • Actively participate in product innovation discussions, offer ideas and suggestions for new product offerings.
  • Assist in marketing efforts related to technical aspects of Arzel products.
  • Help the technical department identify and track any potential product issues or trends: Monitor and report on product performance and customer feedback.
  • Demonstrate a solid troubleshooting methodology when guiding a technician through a technical support call.
  • Share responsibility for the standardization of technical materials presented to customers.
  • Demonstrate an ability and willingness to assist others in the technical support department as well as other Arzel staff requiring technical guidance as needed.
  • Create and update training presentations.
  • Conduct training sessions (onsite and offsite) to educate customers on Arzel products and services.
  • Represent Arzel at industry events to promote products and engage with potential customers.
  • Ability to travel to attend Trade Shows, Expos, and conduct offsite training.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in identifying and resolving HVAC system issues.
  • Capable of interpreting and utilizing schematics effectively.
  • Knowledgeable about HVAC control systems and wiring configurations.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC System and duct design principles.
  • Understanding of zoning systems in HVAC.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills along with a positive demeanor.
  • Adept at promoting Arzel products and effectively communicating their value.
  • Ability to integrate OEM equipment, thermostats, and specialty controls with Arzel products.
  • Ability to develop and modify wiring diagrams per contractors’ requests for custom control strategies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience in the HVAC industry as an HVAC Technician.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with MS office Word, Excel Spreadsheets, and using CRM.
  • Presentation and Training skills are required.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.

Physical Requirements

  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting and standing to complete assignments for prolong periods of time.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, speak with co-workers, etc.
  • May be required to stand for long periods of time when attending events, trade shows, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment such as a copy machine, printer, etc.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers and customers, vendors, and partners, etc. Must be able to communicate accurate information to these individuals.
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.

As a Technician HVAC Support they will be responsible for addressing incoming calls from technicians, diagnosing issues professionally and efficiently, assisting customers in the design and implementation of HVAC zoning products.
