Customize Your Zoning Application with These Add-ons

We design our zoning solutions with the contractor in mind, and we’ve been adding helpful add-ons to our catalog for 40 years. Here are some handy accessories that pair with our zoning systems to make more applications work.

Control a Zone that Over-Conditions

The AloneZone limits temperature and airflow in areas that tend to over-condition but do not require full control of the heating and cooling equipment. Think of it as adding an extra zone that only gets conditioning when another zone is already calling.

Use Arzel Dampers with a Proprietary Zone Control

The Zone Interface Control Panel provides an interface for using Arzel dampers with proprietary zone controls such as Lennox Harmony™ and WaterFurnace Intellizone™.

Forced-Air & Hot Water Hydronics

We can build a zoning panel that combines forced air zoning and hydronic zoning by adding the factory-installed ZVI Board. This allows you to use a single thermostat in each zone.

Add a Zone that Doesn’t Need Equipment Control

A factory-installed Smart Zone allows you to add a zone or zones to a panel where control of the equipment is not required. Unlimited Smart Zones can be added. Smart Zones cannot turn on or control the equipment.

Introducing Outside Air

The FACT board lets you decide how much fresh air to bring in and under what conditions. With the factory-installed FACT board, you can use an enthalpy control, outdoor thermostat, or a timer to limit when outdoor air is brought inside.

Add Bypass with ECM Motors

The Universal ModuPASS^® panel monitors static pressure and modulates a ModuPASS damper to maintain a maximum acceptable static pressure in the supply trunk. Some of our panels already come with a MODUPass port. Use this panel when you don’t have a port.

Custom Zoning Dampers

We offer a variety of custom damper sizes, and we can make and ship most orders within 24 hours, from our Cleveland, OH facility.

Sizes Not Listed

We keep a variety of damper sizes in stock, but we can make many more sizes if you need them. When you encounter ductwork in a non-standard size, give us a call and we’ll probably be able to make a damper that fits.

Commercial Round Dampers

Our commercial round dampers are factory-installed in a 32-inch spiral duct. Commercial round dampers are covered by a five-year warranty, and they come in diameters of 12, 14, 16, 18, or 20 inches.

Rectangular BalancePro Manual Damper

We can make a rectangular BalancePro damper, and we commonly make them in the following sizes (in inches): 8×8, 10×10, 12×12, 8×10, 8×12, and 8×14.

Unusual Shapes

Have you ever seen oval ductwork? We have! We can make dampers in an oval shape, triangle shape, and probably others. If you find oddly shaped ductwork out there, give us a call and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate it.
