Arzel Zoning systems offer a variety of benefits for both homeowners and businesses. One of the most important benefits is improved air quality. Watch this video to learn more about how Arzel Zoning helps with air quality, and how it can benefit you or your business.
So I’m Joel with Arzel zoning tech support and I’m Jason with Arzel zoning tech support. And today we wanted to talk to you a little bit about air quality and how Arzel meets the air quality demands of today. How does Arzel help with indoor air quality? So as people start to move out of homes and they start to use less and less of it, one of the things homeowners are starting to do is close off registers. But when they close off registers, that allows the air in that particular room to go stale. It’s actually going to cause the potential for bacterial and mold growth. So with zoning, we can set those areas back, which is going to be that energy savings that customers looking for. But we can still keep air circulating through there so we can stop that stale air. So when it comes to zoning, does it have any benefit on any other type of indoor air quality products aside from stale air in the house? Typically the only other thing it’s going to help improve would be dehumidification. And that’s due to our reduced airflow, capabilities by locking out that second stage airflow on the independent zones, which in turn gets your cold air conditioning coil, which will better dehumidifier that space? So, Jason, what other solutions does Arzel offer that might contribute to indoor air quality? We offer our CoolMizor panel, which is going to give you not only the benefit of being able to bring in fresh air into the space, but it also incorporates an economize air function for residential equipment. So we’re able to actually bring in that cold outdoor air in those shoulder seasons come early spring, early fall, to better condition that space without actually running the mechanical cooling or in series with that mechanical cooling. So that sounds like something that’s going to help out with a lot of the new homes today that are green homes, and they’re sealed up a lot tighter. Yeah, exactly. With those tight spaces now in homes with, better being insulated, better, better windows and all that, it makes that home a lot harder to breathe in those shoulder seasons, but also adds to that load because we don’t have air protruding into the space anymore. So we need to bring that in from mechanical means and they economize air CoolMizer panel is a perfect example of how it can accomplish that. What happens if I live in Florida where it’s like 95% non condensing humidity outside? So it’s also going to be incorporated with an outdoor temperature sensor, which does humidity and temperature and gives you your lockouts for those extreme conditions when humidity may be too high, or even outdoor ambient temperatures too high, it would lock out the economizer function and run the mechanical cooling instead.
