An experienced HVAC contractor talks about why he started installing Arzel Zoning: there's no wiring, it's the best retrofit option, and a very good option for zoning new homes too.
My name’s Steve, or Steven Smylie. I’m the president of a company called Smylie One Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing, and we’re located here in Cleveland, Ohio. Somebody from one of my distributors mentioned that there was a product out there, or there was a product coming, that did not require wiring. We started using this product within six months of our conversation, and we’ve been using Arzel technology ever since. They go above and beyond whenever there’s an issue. My experience with them is they’re a very customer-focused company. When we started with Arzel, Arzel was the best retrofit zoning system on the market, bar none. By retrofit, I mean systems where we had bad duct design or poorly performing equipment, whether undersized or oversized. Arzel was flexible and easy enough to install that it made good common sense to use it as our first option. Not only are they the best retrofit option, but in some cases, they’re also a very good option for new construction and initial installation in new homes.
