Zoning, Personal Use, and You

There is more than one zoning system out there for contractors to install on a job; so how do you know which one to use? Which one will give substantial energy savings? Which one has the best features and easiest integration? Which system has the longest life span and lives up to its claims? The answer: try one in your own home.

Having a zoning system in your own home will give you first-hand experience with it. It will give you the opportunity to see what it can and can’t do. Chances are if you’re happy with it, your customer will be, too; and if you’ve encountered some problems, so will they. Whether you’ve found you can’t live without it or want to rip it out of the ductwork, your client will most likely share your same sentiments.

If you do have questions about the system or run into any snags during or after installation, you’ll also quickly find out which manufacturer has great (or awful) technical support; and often, that can be the deciding factor.

It’s also easier to sell what you know. Any questions or concerns a homeowner may have, you can answer, because this system has become a part of your everyday life – you are now the expert. You can tell your client, “I have this in my own home, and I love it because…” Telling by example is one of the quickest ways to earn trust and a repeat customer. You can give them assurance and peace of mind that the zoning system you’re bringing into their home will provide the comfort they’ve been promised because it has brought you that same comfort.

If you’re thinking about trying an Arzel® system, here’s an added benefit: we offer discounts on personal use systems.
