Hello and welcome to Arzel Zoning, where today we want to show you how to install the rectangular EzySlide damper. These are available in all your standard duct sizes, from 8 x 8 to 12 x 24. If you have an odd-sized duct, or you have something larger or smaller than that, we can build these to suit, and they typically ship within 1 business day.

Now when it comes to installation, the hole that you cut in your ductwork is going to be the inside dimensions of the gasket. So you’ll measure that out with a tape measure, mark it on the duct, cut your hole, and then once the hole is cut, the damper’s just going to slide right up through that hole, You’re going to twist it, and pull it down a little bit, that way you can make sure the gasket doesn’t get pinched between the plate and the duct. Then fasten it in place with 1-inch screws around the outer edge.

If you need to remove the damper, just take a short piece of tubing, connect it to the air line and then pressurize it, and the damper comes right out.
