InsertaDamper

The InsertaDamper® features a spring-loaded belly band that holds it firmly in any type of round duct. InsertaDamper connects to the zone control panel with plenum-rated tubing that you can run inside the ductwork.

InsertaDamper is very useful in applications with round duct that is not accessible. They also work in non-metallic ducts, such as those in slab homes.

A common application for InsertaDamper is when you can access the main trunk line but not the branches that come from it. You can install InsertaDamper by cutting an access hole in the trunk, then reaching through to insert the damper into each round takeoff or branch.
