How to Install Arzel’s EzySlide Round Damper

Watch Arzel’s technician show you how to install and uninstall the EzySlide Round Damper. The EzySlide Damper uses a cut-in system, which allows for quick and easy installation. A gasket seal prevents air bleed-by and increases the efficiency of your HVAC-zoned system. Installation takes less than 2 minutes, which saves a ton of time on a zoning installation.

Hello and welcome to Arzel Zoning. We want to show you today how easy it is to install the Arzel EzySlide damper. All the dampers are going to come prepackaged with this little sticker here. The sticker has a template on there and we’re going to cut that out, and then we’re going to slide the damper through the hole and fasten it with four screws. Peel the backing off your sticker, secure it to your duct, and then we’re going to cut that out. I like to use a hammer and screwdriver. Some people will use a step bit. They’ll drill a hole and then they’ll cut it out with a pair of red and green or right and left snips.

Once you have it cut out you’re going to take the damper, you’re going to close it, and then you’re going to line the pivot block up with the peak. Slide it through the hole, and then fasten it with four 1-inch screws. The whole process will take you about a minute and a half / two minutes. It’s real fast and easy to do.

That’s the Arzel EzySlide. Real timesaver for you to install zoning.
