If you're looking for a more comfortable home, you need to learn about zoning. Zoning is the process of dividing your home into different comfort zones so that you can heat and cool each one separately. This can lead to significant energy savings and a more comfortable home. Watch this video to learn more!
Hi, this is Ken with Arzel Zoning. Here today with Jason. We’re here to talk to you about the solution to your comfort issues in your home that you didn’t know about, which is HVAC zoning.
What are some of the issues that you’ve come against?
A lot of times because homeowners don’t know what zoning actually is, and how they can benefit from it, they at look at external means. Rather, adding mini-splits to the system, or external equipment, rather than making the existing equipment and ductwork work for them by redirecting that airflow into the areas that are actually needed at that time.
And that’s really what the zoning system does, isn’t it? It puts the air where they want it, when they need it.
Exactly. They get that comfort directly right away. And that’s one of the things I enjoyed the most when I was in the field. You could install top-of-the-line equipment out there, and they’re not really gonna see that benefit right away. But when you add zoning, typically it’s instantaneous, the comfort that they’re gonna feel in that area.
Jason, how does an Arzel system compare to some of the other systems that are out there? Like a mini-split, say?
Well, Arzel was really designed around the retrofit market. So we have a number of different dampers that make it easy to install zoning without drastic modifications to your ductwork or your existing equipment. You don’t have to add anything that you have to maintain. It’s all a sealed package. You don’t have to worry about it once it’s installed. So it’s just there to provide years of comfort for you, is really what it does.
Sure. And so, cosmetically it’s more appealing because you have nothing on the wall, inside the home, or outside. What’s the installation process like? I mean, is it a huge ordeal on the customer’s home?
I mean, installation’s going to vary depending on the job and the size of the job, but for a majority of your jobs out there, less than a day, 6 to 8 hours of installation time with about 2 techs, is usually your average.
And best of all, all Arzel systems come with a lifetime warranty, which gives you peace of mind and comfort. Just knowing that throughout the years of ownership, if anything ever breaks, you’re covered.
So Jason, if somebody watching this video was interested in getting zoning for their home, or whether they’re even a candidate for zoning, what would their next step be?
Well, the easiest way is just go to our website, www.arzelcomfort.com, and click on the contractor locator, which will pull up everybody within that area that deals with zoning. Especially Arzel in general. They’ll be able to help you with any of your comfort needs.
