With Arzel Zoning, adding zoning to the HVAC system is in the budget! We know homebuilding can be a very price-conscious area, but that’s no reason to leave your clients out in the cold. Here’s how Arzel is making zoning affordable for new construction applications.
The MPS zoning panel provides zone control at a fraction of the cost of our more feature-rich panels. MPS is covered by our lifetime warranty, which can be transferred to the new owner. MPS also uses the same modern pneumatic damper technology that makes our zoning systems reliable.
MPS is compatible with single-stage equipment, including heat pumps. It can control up to 35 dampers and is available in 2 or 3 zones.
Another feature of any Arzel system is our line of high-quality dampers. To give you an idea of their longevity, our test damper has cycled open and closed continuously over 23 million times. These dampers are powered by a pneumatic pump, eliminating the need to run wiring for the dampers or add extra transformers. Just run the pneumatic tubing and cut to length. The gasket seal provides a tight closure that maintains the temperature desired in each zone.
Installing our dampers is simple, too. They are installed by simply cutting into the side of a duct, so you can assemble all the ductwork first and add the dampers later. Watch our damper installation demo to learn more about how they work.
Our motorless dampers are less expensive than motorized ones, so the cost savings with each damper really add up. When you combine these damper prices with our MPS panel price, you’ll find a zoning system that allows zoning into the new construction budget.
If your new construction project is a light commercial building, consider using the AirBoss zone control panel. AirBoss is available for up to 8 zones. It has features like master zone control, which allows setback from one thermostat and leaves air temperature protection to protect the equipment. AirBoss also works with two-stage equipment.
If your application requires a more feature-rich zone control, consider the HeatPumPro panel. It offers built-in staging for multi-stage equipment, and its zone weighting feature can manage staging based on the percentage of ductwork in use. HeatPumPro is compatible with dual fuel, heat pumps, and conventional equipment and is available in up to 4 zones.
