Arzel Zoning is a top choice for light commercial zoning because of our quick installation and high-quality products. Your clients can be confident that they’re getting a reliable product, and you can assure them it won’t disrupt their business for long.
Why is our installation process so fast? It’s our air-driven dampers. For metal ductwork, you can add the dampers with a simple cut-in process that takes about 2 minutes per damper. You can also use our sleeved dampers with flex duct or metal ductwork.
The dampers are connected to the panel box with pneumatic tubing. Just cut the tubing to length, connect it to the damper, and you’re done. There’s no need for damper wiring or extra transformers. Our unique damper options allow you to zone more areas without cutting into drywall, which saves you a huge amount of time and mess.
Every part of our zoning systems is built to last. Our dampers are powered by a single pneumatic pump in the panel box. This pump is medical-grade and extremely reliable. If it fails, the box is easy to access and the pump is easy to replace.
The dampers themselves have very few moving parts. Our headquarters has a test damper that has been opening and closing constantly for years. It’s up to 23 million cycles and still going strong.
Our zoning systems are so reliable that we back them with a lifetime warranty. We can offer this industry-best warranty because we know our systems are built to last.
The Pro Panel zone control is our first system that can control up to 16 zones. With this flexibility, you can use Arzel’s unique damper systems in more light commercial settings. The Pro Panel is a full-featured zoning system that can expertly control multi-stage equipment, conventional equipment, heat pump systems including dual-fuel and all-electric systems, and split or package geothermal.
With the Pro Panel, you get app-based setup that’s quicker and easier. Even though the panel is packed with features, setting it up is as easy as selecting your equipment type from a list.
The Pro Panel supports up to 2 stages of cooling and 4 stages of heating, with standard heat/cool thermostats. It stages based on timers and temperature readings, and you can adjust both of these in the settings.
The Pro Panel also offers zone weighting, which can stage based on the percentage of ductwork that’s open. Additionally, you can designate any zone on a Pro Panel system as a slave zone, or a zone that will not turn on the equipment on its own. This lets you create a small zone without any concern that the zone will be overwhelmed with static pressure. The slave zone will wait for another zone with a matching call, and then its dampers will open and satisfy the call.
If you don’t need all the features of the Pro Panel, you might want to use the AirBoss in some light commercial applications. Our AirBoss panel works so well for light commercial applications because it was built for them. For example, many commercial buildings want to set back the temperature when the building is unoccupied. The AirBoss has a master zone control feature that lets occupants set back the entire building using the thermostat on zone 1.
AirBoss is available in up to 8 zones and is compatible with conventional equipment, heat pumps, dual fuel, and two-stage equipment. AirBoss also includes leaving air temperature protection for the equipment. It does not have an outdoor air sensor.
Finally, AirBoss can handle two-stage equipment without the need for two-stage thermostats. It uses a delay to engage the second stage.
Our EzySlide dampers are the perfect fit for accessing the ductwork. They are available in various round and rectangular sizes, and EzySlide installation is easy.
We also have many custom damper sizes available if you need a different size. We build them in Cleveland, OH; most sizes ship in 1-2 business days. Call us at (216) 831-6068 to see what we can do or to place a custom order.
We also have dampers that make zoning possible when the ductwork is inaccessible. Our InsertaDamper can be inserted into a round duct and held in place by a spring band. These can be used to place dampers in the vertical ductwork many offices have in their ceilings.
